The Elizabeth Catherine Rest Home is a 26-bed licensed Level IV Rest Home located at 27 Front Street in Weymouth, MA. It was built in the 1800s and has been identified in the Comprehensive Community-wide Survey Project to catalog Weymouth's historic features. The front entrance includes multiple benches so residents can enjoy the outdoors and watch ongoing activity on Front Street. Once you walk in, you will immediately feel the historic charm of the home. 

Amenities

Clean, comfortable, fully-furnished private and semi-private rooms, some with a private bath.

24-hour supervision by qualified and trained staff.

Medication management and administration.

We coordinate your medical care under the direction of our medical director Arthur Bregoli, MD.

Coordination of medical care including Visiting Nursing, Personal Care Aides, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Pharmacy, and Laboratory.

Our aides assist with general cleaning and meal service.

Three home-cooked meals are served in our beautiful dining rooms. Menus and diets are planned by a registered dietician.

Daily activities are organized, including games, crafts, movies, entertainment, religious events, holiday parties, and birthday celebrations.

In-house hairdresser and barber services are offered at reasonable rates.

Laundry and housekeeping services for residents.


Methods of Payment

Elizabeth Catherine offers affordable care for seniors in a home setting.

At the Elizabeth Catherine Rest Home, we accept Masshealth, EAEDC (Emergency Aid for the Elderly, Disabled, and Children), and Private Pay. Our private rates range from $125 to $165 per day and include meals and coordination of care.

We accept Short Term Respites arranged through South Shore Elders Services.

Our office manager can assist you in determining your eligibility for Masshealth or EAEDC and the application process.


Weymouth Landing

Elizabeth Catherine is located in Weymouth Landing on historic Front Street. Elizabeth Catherine was one seven homes along Front Street that were identified in the Comprehensive Community-wide Survey Project prepared to catalog Weymouth's historic features.

Weymouth Landing offers easy access to public transportation. The Weymouth Landing/East Braintree Commuter Rail Station is a short walk from the facilities and the 225 MBTA bus travels right up Front Street.

Within walking distance are several shops and restaurants, Weston Park, Watson Park, Sacred Heart Church, U.S. Post Office, and the Tufts Library.
